Artists in the Blue Line
Talk Radio for the Arts – Artists in the Blueline features artists throughout the Adirondack region.
WSLP 93.3 is proud to present Artists in the Blueline every Sunday from 8-9pm. Artists in the Blueline – talk radio for the arts, features visual artists, musicians, and performers in a weekly one hour talk and music format show.
WSLP 93.3, now in its third year of broadcasting, serves the Tri-Lakes, Lake Placid, Saranac Lake, Tupper Lake and surrounding communities. Host of Artists in the Blueline, Judy O’Toole, meets with artists to learn the story behind their artwork and/or music.
"The Adirondack region is home to artists of all disciplines – painters, potters, sculptors, photographers, actors, and musicians. Artists in the Blueline allows listeners an opportunity to get to know an artist in an informal setting – their home. Many times when we attend an art exhibit or gallery, we do not have the option of having a lengthy discussion with an artist. As host of Artists in the Blueline, I travel to the studios, homes and galleries to learn more about why an artist is working in a certain medium or style. Artists have been very forthcoming with sharing details of their creative journeys and their art.” says Judy O’Toole.

This is an excellent opportunity to not only promote our local musicians, but to also promote the wide array of art and culture in the Tri-Lakes’ region.
